Rise in top GCSE grades at Stonar

With the national press reporting that top GCSE grades showed a decline this year, pupils at Stonar achieved quite the opposite.The number of A* grades awarded rose by almost 4% on last year's results to 18%.

Conservative 'MP' for Stonar

Election fever has gripped Stonar this week and pupils turned out to vote yesterday in the school's mock election. A strong 92% turnout delivered an emphatic result for the Conservative candidate, Beatrice Titcombe who took 44.7% of the vote.
